Frosted designs guest DT sponsored by Stitchy stamps

For my Gem of a challenge post please scroll down.....
Hello folks another post from me today! Over at frosted designs this wk their challenge is to use some sort of transparency, vellum etc on your projects and as they are being sponsored this wk by Stitchy bear stamps I was asked (being part of the Stitchy DT) to be a guest designer!

Frosted Designs

I'm afraid I don't use transparencies or acetate on my projects much and should probaly get a bit more creative with it (note to self!) so this was a bit of a challenge for me!
I made a card using a background image (fairy tree house) from make it crafty and have printed Stitchys rainbow fairies on to transparency and layered them over the top, they are each cut individually with a strip that hangs from the top and is tucked in behind the cardstock. My papers are floppy latte also available at the stitchy bear store.
I have used white fluffy stuff and pink chiffon ribbon from stash and my flowers and stamens are from wild orchids. My background image has been coloured with prismas.

Here you can see how the fairies lift off the card. The faires are not just black sihouettes, their wings have a rainbow shimmer to them which you can just about see here.

Why not challenge yourself, like me lol and join in with their challenge ths wk! I am also entering this into ABCs M is for magical and Do it with digis pink and girlie challenge. Thanks for popping by, hugs all
