Saturated Canary colour challenge

Helloooooo! Long time no blog!
Yes I got really ill for about a week and am afraid I was completely knocked out so no crafting or blogging for me! I cannot say that I am still 100% as it seems to be lingering a bit in my system but I am certainly on the mend and I have missed blogging and blog hopping!
So lets start today with a new challenge over at Saturated Canary and this week we have a wonderful colour challenge for you.
SequinsTones_1
Do you think you could use at least 3 of these colours? Here is my card
I have used papers from The scrap cake with a tile from Prima, brads from SU, butterfly from little snippets, flowers from Wild orchids and some flowers and pearls from Kort & Godt.
I have chosen to colour up one of the stunning new digis from Saturated Canary called Turtle lurv, she is just adorable! I have used my prisma pencils on her again and added some vintage photo ink around the edge.
I am going to enter this into...
Wild orchid anything goes, Creative card crew girly and Top tip tues layers.
Do check out what the rest of my team mates have made this wk and please join in with us using an SC digi, rubber stamp or a simple sassy stamp also designed by Krista.
Thanks so so much for coming by my blog and sticking by me during my absence!
Big hugs

Fairytales at Divas By design

Hi everyone, I do apologise for my lateness of this post. I had this card all ready and photographed on Wednesday for the new challenge over at Divas by Design but I have been struck down with some sort of nasty flu strain.
I wouldn't say it was full blown flu as I've been there before and I have managed to move today at least! But it is certainly worse than any bad cold I have had. The shakes, high temp and sweats was quite enough for me during Wednesday and Thursday, I'm thankful that I've managed to get dressed today!
So here is my LATE card. Our theme is FAIRYTALES and we are sponsored by the brilliant Bunny Zoes.
I have used MME papers along with some flowers from WOC, a butterfly from Kays and a sentiment banner from Karen Foster.
My sweet image is a rubba stamp I have had from The Greeting farm for ages. She is such a darling princess image. I have coloured her with prisma pencils.
I do hope you have managed to pop across and see the other stunning creations from the DT and will join in with us this time.
I have also not posted for Marvelous Magnolia this wk due to illness so do pop across and see what those ladies have been up to too!
Thanks for coming by my blog, I don't think I will be doing much blog hopping at the mo as I am just washed out and need to rest.
Big hugs to you all

Stampin For The Weekend Something girlie

Hiya folks!
Have you been snowed in?! Surprisingly we have had very little snow again, we seem to be quite protected and despite there being about 6 inches down the road where hubby works it's still very minimal here (don't think the kids were too thrilled about going to school today!)
Anyway it's challenge time again at SFTW and we want you to make SOMETHING GIRLIE this time.
We are sponsored by the fab Live and love crafts who have the most awesome embellies!
And here is my card..

This was a commissioned card I made for the birth of a baby girl.
I used Echo park papers with flowers from WOC and Kort & godt, my butterfly is little snippets and my frame is Tim Holtz with computer generated personalisation for the name and date
I have coloured a sweet Mos image with prisma pencils and set her in a nesties frame.
Do check out the stunners from the rest of the DT and why not join in with us this time!
Big hugs

Saturated Canary Inspired by a Movie

Hello again everyone!
It's challenge time again over at Saturated Canary and this time we want you to be inspired by a movie!
This is what I chose to make today..
Ok, so this is a little less girlie than my normal style! I think this stamp is so cute but she warranted less pinks but with just a touch of flowers!
I was inspired by this movie..
Anyone remember it?! As soon as I saw the little Pitcher girl she reminded me of this feel good movie!
I used papers, sentiment tag and chipboard squares from rusty pickle for my card with some flowers from WOC and Kort & Godt. My sweet butterfly is again from Kays (can you tell my latest order came through?!)
If you are wondering why you haven't seen this adorable image yet, it is because she is a new release rubba stamp that has just been launched at CHA, she is currently available at little Darlings but will soon be available in the UK at Crafty Boots too. I have coloured her with prisma pencils.
Do check out the rest of the inspirational work from the DT it's superb!
I want to enter this into..
Paper pretties ribbon, Crafts and me something new (new stamp) and Stamp n doodle anything goes
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again!
Big hugs

Make it girlie at Divas by Design

I know, I know I'm late again!
I'm still appauling at organising my time, despite writing lists and doing my best to stick by them! It hasn't been helped by changing our internet, loosing all my e mails and contacts etc but I'm just making excuses really!
Our new dishwasher got delivered today (yay!) Considering we are a family of 5 you would have thought we would have got one before now but I've never been all that keen on them. However my hubby has persuaded me round and today it arrived! We should be up and running by the weekend!
On to my terribly late card for the new challenge over at Divas by Design today.
We want you to make something girlie! We are sponsored this wk by the fab Dilly Beans digis.
I have used Black market paper society papers (these are xmas ones but I wanted this colour pink!) I have also used flowers, jute and lace from Wild Orchids. Butterfly from Kays and a sentiment from Stempelglede.
My gorgeous Dilly Beans image has been coloured using prisma pencils. I really must look at my photo software as it always seems to make my colours look so light and washed out, I promise they aren't!
We have just announced some fab new DT members to the team over at Divas so do pop by and check them out!
I am entering this into..
Wild orchids coming up roses, Bearly mine anything goes and Digi tuesday flower power.
Thanks for coming by my blog again everyone!
Big hugs

Thanks for coming by my blog again everyone!

A Gem of a Challenge New beginnings

Good morning bloggers it's Saturday!
Well, I'm actually not so cheery today as this is my last post for A Gem of A Challenge.
I agonized over my decision to leave for a while, but have come to the conclusion that this is right for me just now.
We have a current challenge of NEW BEGINNINGS over there right now and there is also a DT call going on so why not try out, it's a fab team!
Here is my card for the challenge..
I have used papers from the scrapcake one moment in time book, along with a heart shaped doily, some flowers from WOC, a large brad from MME, butterfly from little snippets and sentiment from LOTV.
My image is bathtime baby from Pink Gem Designs and has been coloured with prisma pencils, I have used glossy accents o all the bubbles to make them "pop" in the light.
This card has been sent to the lovely Gemma who has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl called Tahlia what an adorable name!
A big hugs goes out to all my PGD teamies, I will miss you all!
Thanks for coming by my blog again folks!
Big hugs

Magnolia Love

It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know why I am getting so excited as that means my working week is beginning, not ending! I get to go to work this evening, tomorrow and sunday but it does mean no packed lunches for school for 2 days!
Today I have a valentines/love card made with one of the new magnolia stamps, this is one of those collections which I want every single one of!! They are all so lovely.
I decided to do another black & white with a hint of colour cards, I think these can be super effective! I have used Echo park papers with flowers from WOC, keyhole is Melissa francis, my butterfly is from Kays Kreative Korner and my sentiment is LOTV.
I have coloured my Tilda in prisma pencils in varying shades of grey with a little black and some pink. I do love mono colouring, should do more! I used some tattered rose crackle paint on my little clip at the top and my tag is another recycled thing off an item of clothing (think this was boys swim shorts lol)
This one will be up for sale in my facebook page shop really soon!
I would like to enter this into the following challenges...
Incy wincy something new (my stamp), Papertake weekly Happy new (stamp), Tuesday throwdown shiny and new, Simon says stamp black, white and a splash, the inky chicks anything goes and delightful add hearts.
Thanks tonnes for coming by my blog again to say hi!

Some Odd Girl at Crafty Boots

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having great weeks so far.
Today I want to show you a fabulous little Some Odd Girl stamp called Gifty Gwen which is available at Crafty Boots store.  I was so thrilled to be asked by Stephanie-Emma to be part of the shop DT and Blog where we will be showcasing the wonderful things on offer at the store once and sometimes twice a week, it would be so good if you would pop over and be one of our new followers so you don't miss out on all the great inspiration and products!
I have used gorgeous MME papers here in yummy pinks and oranges (what a sparkling colour combo!)
My flowers are WOC and my butterfly is little snippets. The cute little boot charm came in my little package from Crafty boots tied up with my stamp (well I just had to use it!) My little sentiment also came with the stamp set.
I have coloured Gwen with prisma pencils. Try not to look too closely as I must have dropped the edging stamp (stempelglede) that I used around the image and she looks like she has freckles! I guess that sort of suits her with that coloured hair!
Do check out the shop blog for inspiration and there is a challenge blog too that you can join in with! Don't forget also to check out the wonderful goodies in store, there will be Saturated Canary rubba coming in really soon!
I would like to enter this into the following challenges..
Lexis creations anything goes, Crafty creations something new (A New DT spot), Pennys paper crafty anything goes and the paper shelter flowers.
Thanks for coming by my blog folks!
Massive hugs

DT call at Divas by Design

Happy Wednesday lovely friends!
I don't have anything to show you today (insert sad face) I still feel I'm lacking mojo and motivation now that things are starting to resemble normality in my house!
We have also changed ISP (Nightmare!) after 8 years of the same one, so I now have a new e mail, so if anyone wants or needs it I am now rebekahlanewilliams@ymail.com I figured on getting a free generic one would make it easier if I had to change ISP again!
But I did want to shout about the new challenge which launched today at Divas By Design. It's another super easy anything goes challenge and this time we are having a DT call too!
We are looking for a couple of new teamies, you are only required to make something once every 3 wks, comment on 1 in 10 entries and even get some freebies from some fabulous sponsors"
If you think it may be something you would like to do why not join in with our challenge and pop DT on to the end of your entry so we can come by and check you out!
Big hugs to you all

Saturated canary Inspired by a song

Another post from me today! This wouldn't normally happen but due to extended challenges I'm posting both my projects today, we will be back to normal from next week though!
We have a new challenge over at saturated Canary and it's so cool! "Inspired by a song" and it's so much fun to see each of the different team members take on this!
Here is my project..
Mine has been inspired by the song "could it be magic" by either Barry Manilow or Take that depending on your musical era! I have used papers from Echo Park and Bo bunny along with flowers and jute from WOC. My stunning butterfly is from Kays kreative Korner and my sentiment is again LOTV. I have used nesties for the tags in the top left and for under the image.
My stunning Bubbles image from saturated canary has been coloured with prisma pencils (I love her sooooo much!) I have used glossy accents on the bubbles for a little dimension and a bit of picket fence DI around the edge.
This is one of my all time fave colour combos, so fresh and pretty! I hope you can join us in our fab challenge!
I am entering this into..
My mums craft shop anything goes and  Pennys paper crafty use your fave embellies (flowers!)
Thanks loads for sticking by me during all my technical difficulties and still popping by my blog!
Big hugs
