Saturated Canary All things bright and beautiful

Hello everyone!
Well it's a busy old week for me, I seem to be up to my eyes in cake and crafts and all sorts right now! I still have some wrapping to do for the birthday boy tomorrow and I'm working until 10 tonight "yawn".
Anyway, we have a brand new challenge today over at Saturated Canary and it's all things bright and beautiful with an optional colour scheme..
Well guess what?! I bypassed this entirely and made a card for our challenge in 2 weeks (duh!) actually I'm not the only one that did this so extra lol there!
So my apologies but I threw together my card this morning in less than 2 hours! It's not my best work but I didn't want to miss the fab challenge.
My fab bright papers are Pink Paislee with my jute and flowers coming from WOC, there are also flowers from LLC and the ribbon girl in there too. My beautiful butterflies are both from the fabulous Kays kreative Korner with my bling flourishes coming from prima and my sentiment from LOTV.
I have coloured the wonderful Cerridwen with prisma pencils and have gone frantage crazy around the outside. Word of warning, I love the frantage tonnes but I seem to be covered in the stuff now!
There is also a prima wooden clock nestling in amongst those flowers there too!
Do check out the stunners from the rest of the team (who made theirs much further in advance lol!)
If I get time later (doubtful) I will enter some challenges.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog everyone.
Big hugs to you all

Divas by Design Movies & Midweek Magnolias Bingo

Good morning lovely friends!
I apologize for my absence again, it seems most of my DT work falls into one week and then the next leaves my blog a little sparse!
I am also going to be super busy this week as I have a few extra hours at work and it is also my son's 6th birthday on friday so there is plenty of baking to be done (including cake pops which I have never made before!)
I am combining my DT work today with a little commissioned card (sneaky!)
Our challenge over at Divas by Design this week is "inspired by a movie". It is your choice as to what movie inspires your creations! We are sponsored by the fabulous Live and Love crafts and my movie choice was 3 men and a baby. I am also combining this with the fab Bingo board challenge we have for you over at Midweek Magnolias ...
I have used Pink, lace and charm or flowers, lace and pearls for my card today and this is it..
Another baby card and for a little girl, right up my crafty street! I have used Tim Holtz shabby chic papers, pearled lace and some flowers from Live and love crafts, some flowers and berries from the ribbon girl, other flowers from WOC, butterfly from little snippets, a prima gem flourish and lots of other bits from stash.
My magnolia sleeping Tilda stamp has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have stamped around the edge with an SU flourish stamp in tattered rose DI. I have also used tattered rose crackle paint on the edges of my card stock and papers.
Do check out what the rest of my teamies have made for these challenges this time!
I would like to enter this into..
Stamp n doodle anything goes, Daring cardmakers childs play, Allsorts a passion for flowers and Dream valley things with wings.
Thanks for coming by my blog everyone!

Copycat at Midweek magnolias!

Good morning my little chickadies how are we all?!
I am feeling bright and cheery and I'm sure it has something to do with the eventual approach of spring! Long may the sunshine last, tho it's not as warm as I would like it to be!
I hope all my buddies that are feeling poorly sick are starting to feel better, there are lots of flu bugs going around at the moment!
It's challenge time again at Midweek Magnolias (sigh I just adore using maggies at the mo and wish I could afford some of those stunning new ones!)
This week we want you to COPYCAT or CASE a DT member. Now, II had a thought about this and in my head I decided to keep my card relatively simple, after all who wants to copy a complex LO or an excess of embellies? But that only worked in my head!!! My hands just went over time and I got carried away again and ended up here...
I have used pretty Pion papers for my card, with a Tim Holtz tcket, butterflies from little snippets, lace and blooms from the ribbon girl, more blooms from Kort & godt and a sentiment from stampin up.
I adore this image isn't she just darling?! I have coloured my Tilda with prisma pencils. I am checking out others colouring like Anne & Alby to try and add more depth to my colouring. I still have a way to go but I'm trying! You probably can't really see the edge of my image yet but I am desperate to try frantage. I should have my order come today or tomorrow but I tried mixing some embossing powder with glitter for a similar effect (as I'm impatient like that) and got a much milder effect if you look reeeeeeally close!
Do check out what the rest of my team mates have done, there is bound to be a much easier card to CASE over there!
I am entering this into the following challenges...
Bunny Zoes fave colour combo (I'm loving the brown/pink combo at the mo!), Magnolialicious buttons bows and beads (bows), LCI card for a child, The inky chicks happy birthday girl, Card makin mamas ribbon and sweet stampin pastels.
Thanks for coming by my blog again everyone!

Evening everyone, yes I'm super late with my challenge post today, nothing unusual there then!
I am looking forward to next week when I have some time on my own, maybe then I will stop snacking on all this chocolate that I keep force feeding the kids so that it is removed from the house lol!
Today we started a new challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and it is FRIENDSHIP. We are sponsored by the oh so fabulous Saturated Canary and have all used Kristas wonderful images for the challenge. here is my card for today...
I have used Prima Pixie Glen papers for my card along with flowers mostly from Kort & Godt with some from WOC & the ribbon girl. My stunning butterfly is again from Kays, my dies are Memory box and Magnolia and my sentiment is Inkadinkado.
I have used the sweet Puppy love image from Saturated Canary, she is part of a set but the great thing about digis is you can adjust them to only print out one of the pair or just part of the image. I have coloured her with prisma pencils and have edged in vintage photo DI with a stempelglede stamp.
The rest of the team have made some incredible friendship creations with Krista's images so do check them out at the challenge blog.

Flowers at Divas

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Can I just say I am a very proud mum right now! Caleb had his certificate back from his Tae Kwon do grading and got an advanced pass, only 3 were given out on the day to a 25 yr old, a 10 yr old and my 5 yr old son! He has been only going 2 months and they think he has great potential *shug*, OK I will stop beaming now!
We have a new challenge for you today over at Divas by Design and we are proud to be sponsored by the brilliant LOTV.
Our challenge is super easy (well for me it's really easy!)
It's FLOWERS!
I have made a card for a friend who is soon to be having a baby girl and she is NOT a pink person at all! So I made this new baby card with no pink whatsoever! I have used papers from MME. My die cut heart is memory box, jute and flowers from WOC with some from the ribbon girl, my butterflies are little snippets and my tags are from stash.
Both my image and sentiment are from LOTV. I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and have used a stempelglede stamp around the edge in dusty concord DI.
Do check out what the rest of the team have made for this challenge, many of whom have used fabulous LOTV images too!
I would like to enter this into the following challenges..

Midweek Magnolias How Charming

Good morning my friends!
My apologies for being a little late with my post this morning, I have had some light family issues to deal with. No, don't worry NOTHING at all serious just some mild annoyances!
Anyway, today the sun is shining and I don't have to work, which is nice so maybe me and the kiddies will be able to do something nice!
I do have a card today though, for the Midweek Magnolias Challenge of HOW CHARMING, so get out those cute charms! here is my card..
I used Pink Paislee London market papers for my card (may have to get more of these as I love them!) I have a tonne of goodies on my card from the Ribbon girl (my lace, some of my flowers and stamens and pearl flourish) My tea pot charm was given to me by a friend and my stunning butterfly is from my latest little purchase from Kays Kreative Korner.
I have used Joyful Tilda today, I purchased her from a friend. She is one of those stamps I have wanted for ages and I can see the new collection being at the top of my wish list too but I simply cannot buy any right now. I have coloured her with prisma pencils and have edged in vintage photo DI with a LOTV grunge stamp.
Do check out what the rest of the team have made for this challenge, their creations are stunning!

Black with 2 (yellow and grey)

Hey everyone happy April 1st (or April fools day) No tricks over here! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend, we had great fun hunting for eggs and eating lots of baked goodies and sweets, I'm feeling a crash diet coming on next week!
I'm back today as it's the 1st of the moth which means another new challenge at Black with 2 and this time we have the stunning colour palate of grey and lemon with black...
I'm sure you could all create some striking combinations with this! I decided I needed to get out my terribly ignored Hanglars again so here is my card..
I have used Teresa Collins papers for my card, I actually finished the pad with these (yes finished a pad!!!) I love the sweet nothings collection, so much so that I bought another pad! My flowers are from WOC with butterflies from little snippets and some fab prima bling.
My sweet hanglar image has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have used stempelglede stamps around the edge. She is just the cutest isn't she?!
I know you want to join us this month. Black is actually not that scary to work with! I always thought this would be such a major challenge for me (I love my pinks and pastels) but I enjoy every creation I make for these challenges!
I am entering this into..
Lovely Hanglar butterflies, Dream valley pearls and lace, Glitter and sparkle cute, Sweet stampin girlie, Dis digis flower frenzy and Emerald faeries bling.
